Accessible Travel Guides Expression of Interest
Tourism Vancouver Island is a dynamic and innovative not for profit that seeks to support the tourism industry of our region. With the help of equally minded freelance suppliers, we provide support to communities, businesses and travellers.
TVI is seeking expressions of interest for a project in partnership with our community destination management organizations and Spinal Cord Injury BC. This project aims to address the travel-planning needs of travellers with a lived experience of disability through digital content that highlights barrier-free amenities and activities on Vancouver Island. The imagery and videography of the project will feature a diverse representation of travellers, and be crafted by creatives who have a lived experience with disability.
These guides will feature 9 communities on Vancouver Island:
- Victoria
- Cowichan Region (Malahat to YellowPoint)
- Southern Gulf Islands
- Tofino
- Ucluelet
- Nanaimo
- Parksville and Qualicum Beach
- Comox Valley
- Vancouver Island North
After a qualification process, the selected suppliers will be onboarded into the TVI brand and workflow.
For this project, we are searching for:
- Content writers
- Photographers
- Videographers
- Models
Tourism Vancouver Island invites freelancers to get in touch through this process and join our team of trusted suppliers.
Any questions can be directed to Hannah Grant ([email protected]).
