As a non-profit social enterprise, we work with communities and organizations to support fresh and enhanced experiences for both visitors and residents in our region.

We know that in-destination services provide a richer, more visitor-friendly experience, which is why we have created a suite of services to enhance and enrich your tourism offering. Our services include:

  • Visitor centre, and mobile visitor servicing operations
  • Tactical planning for Municipal Regional District Tax applications

Governance Training

We support the work you do by training your board in governance issues. Effective boards draw people from various backgrounds to bring their expertise to your organization, yet not every member knows how to work on a board. Whether it’s a paid or a volunteer board, we help the members understand their roles, responsibilities and potential areas for conflict of interest.

Marketing Services

We deliver brand development, website and social media channel audits, and digital marketing services and planning. Our team are also experts in storytelling and content marketing services, as well as travel media support. 

At 4VI, our in-house content and social media expertise allows you to amplify your reach, with compelling, memorable storytelling and an always-on marketing plan that reflects all channels of distribution. 

KPIs

We work with you to define the correct Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can and should be reported and tracked for your campaigns and your organization. Then we establish the parameters for timely reporting, define the insights you will gain from the numbers, and determine how to optimize your work so it performs even better.

Travel Media

At 4VI we are certified in public relations and trained in media relations, so when it comes to telling your story to travel media, we have the expertise to craft the right message for the right audience. We work with journalists, freelance writers, social influencers, editors and broadcasters to assist with suggested itineraries customized for the particulars of story assignments, fact-checking, image sourcing, stakeholder connections and story ideas. 

Travel Trade Support

At 4VI, we have extensive experience with the travel trade across a range of distribution channels. Tourism Resiliency

We proudly work with the Vancouver Island Coastal Tourism Resiliency Program to provide Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands tourism businesses with meaningful, hands-on guidance and support to navigate the immediate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as adapt and work towards long-term resiliency. Vancouver Island-based tourism businesses may find guidance to achieve marketing and business improvement goals through our Tourism Resiliency Program.
